Coach Lawrence will be a volunteer assistant coach for the 2023-2024 season. This will be Courtney's seventh season on the softball coaching staff. Courtney was the team's 1st base coach and was also responsible for every aspect of the Sharks outfield in 2018. Courtney's 1st season saw 2 members of the Sharks outfield be recognized as 1st Team All Region selections and center fielder Maison Zumpol was named Region XV Tournament MVP. The 2019 season was Courtney's 1st as the Sharks Pitching Coach. This season Courtney will be involved with the Sharks outfielders aand hitters as well as assisting Coach Klammer with the Sharks pitching staff. 

As a student-athlete at Suffolk County Community College: Courtney was the 2016 Region XV Player of the Year, the 2016 and 2017 Region XV Tournament Most Valuable Player and was also named a NJCAA 2nd Team All American in 2017. Courtney received her Associate's Degree in Child Study from Suffolk and her Bachelor's Degree from Stony Brook University.
