Suffolk Community College's Teagan Hallaran Receives Second Straight NJCAA Women's Soccer All-America First Team Honor
Charlotte, North Carolina - Sophomore defender Teagan Hallaran added another accolade to the many she has collected during an outstanding career for the Suffolk Community College women's soccer program, picking up her second consecutive NJCAA Division III Women's Soccer First Team All-America selection as announced by the NJCAA.
Halloran was a stalwart on the Sharks backline, starting a career-best 19 games for a unit that ranked in the top 10 in three major defensive categories and in the top five in two of them, as they were second in the country in shutouts (12), third nationally in goals against average (0.64) and tied sixth nationally in goals allowed (12). The Smithtown East high school product also led the Sharks to a 15-3-1 overall record and their first National Tournament Appearance in two seasons.

Hallaran, a 2023 All-Region 15 First Team selection, also joined teammate and freshman sensation Yamileth Fuentes on the 2023 NJCAA Division III Women's Soccer All-Tournament team for her efforts. She finishes her career in Selden, New York, with 29 career starts in 29 career games, five career goals, 10 career assists, and 25 career points.
