2 Lady Sharks named Preseason All Americans

Paige Baker and Courtney Lawrence have been named Preseason All Americans by Fast Pitch News.

Last season Baker finished 3rd among all NJCAA Division III softball student-athletes with a .588 batting average. She was named an NJCAA 1st Team All American to go along with her 1st Team All Region XV honors and All Tournament Team selection.

Lawrence is coming off a season in which she hit .460 and led all NJCAA Division III softball student-athletes in triples. Courtney also finished the season with a 23-5 record on the mound. Courtney was last season's Region XV Player of the Year and was also named Most Valuable Player of the Region XV Tournament.
