Autism Awareness Day

SUFFOLK CC ATHLETICS SPEAKS
On Saturday April 16th the Men's Soccer and Lacrosse Teams along with the Women's Softball Team will be hosting Autism Awareness Day on the athletic fields at the Grant Campus in Brentwood. The men's lacrosse team will be participating in a scrimmage with members from the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation. The men's soccer team will be participating in a scrimmage with children from "Just for Kicks" an affiliate of the East Islip Soccer Club. Softball has a double header against Region XV member Westchester CC. In addition to the three teams participating in their games, there will be a DJ, ice cream truck, concession stand and also a bouncy house for children to play in during the course of the day. The event will begin at 12:00 and finish at 4:00. There will be tables set up where volunteers will be taking donations and selling raffle tickets and t-shirts. All donations will be given to the Building Blocks Developmental Preschool in Commack, N.Y.
