Bio

Coach Scanlon has been dancing all her life, she has trained in all genres but specializes in contemporary and jazz. At the age of 15 she became a competitive dancer with her studio, Jacqueline Rivera’s Dance Couture and continued for multiple years. After graduating Connetquot High School in 2015, Danielle came right to Suffolk County Community College.  She danced with the Sharks for 3 years (2016-2019) and received the Coaches Award in 2018.  Before finishing her time at Suffolk, she was selected as captain of the dance team her last year. Danielle graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program and completed a Business Management Certificate. Danielle now works as a Physical Therapist Assistant at multiple facilities, she continues to teach dance at Jacqueline Rivera’s Dance Couture, and continues to be a part of Suffolk by coaching the Suffolk Sharks Dance Team.
